As I wander these empty halls, I begin to wonder if we might be ready for a soft opening. I have checked the text many times over for typos and better phrasing. The boards are the best I can think of, at least until the community evolves. The rules are written. Our classifieds are ready for submissions. And the affiliate table at the bottom is finally ready across all themes for our friends' banners.
Beyond the backstage of the Connection Hub, I have gotten a "who we are" thread up to describe our mission and our offerings for guests. In addition, there is a small list of threads which will surely grow that I intend to post for both activity and interest. It is my belief that we are ready to begin our journey together (even if you don't know it yet) because I can see little else to add without member contributions.
And so, the Hub begins its journey with a soft opening. In this period, friends will be invited and hopefully our member base grown. I aim to obtain some input through other sources and hopefully with feedback, we can grow bigger and better. After all, what is a connection hub without connections?
Once some fires have been stoked, we can go into full advertisement mode. What say you? Are we ready, my friends? Are we ready to find each other once more in the virtually dense oasis that is the world wide web?
